Build a Hand Wired Tweed Amp
Learn how to make boutique amps and build a hand wired Tweed Fender Amp from the ground up. Learn proper soldering technique, component testing, component selection, modifications, and more. Using premium components, we build an early 1950s Fender Champ. During the workshop students will build a Tube Amp Doctor Tweed 5F1 Kit which retails for €1364 fully assembled. The 5F1 Champ is the perfect introduction to the world of boutique amp building and has been used on many famous recordings.
This 3 day workshop costs €1250 including all parts and materials. Students can bring home their own hand wired boutique amp at the end. Classes are small so spaces are limited. A non-refundable deposit of€500 will secure a place on the course.
